To Preserve Potency, always store dried Amanita in the freezer sealed in a plastic bag. Subjecting dried Amanita to 220F dry heat will degrade 95% of the ibotenic acid and muscimol. Decarboxylation of ibotenic acid to muscimol only occurs under specific conditions. Our Amanita mushrooms are dried at the ideal temperature of 125F.
